I fully intended to do a video post this week, but then I got sick with strep throat and I just can't do it. So, let me start by apologizing to Leigh, who said specifically that she was hoping for a video this time. Sorry!

Sydney is back from camp, our new puppy Poppy is so much fun and the CT scan showed relative stability or slight improvement — all signs look good.

We picked up Poppy today and she is gorgeous — so cute and so good natured. She is a very sweet puppy.

Pink ribbons and pink bracelets, pink T-shirts, “Think pink” slogans and bright bubblegum pink bumper stickers—women’s health advocates get a lot of mileage out of that rosy hue. But is it a bad idea to rely on the popular appeal of the colour pink to raise money and awareness about women’s health issues?

Thursday was my 9th wedding anniversary. Mark and I are celebrating with a few days in Muskoka. I couldn't really travel too far because of the pleural effusion. I wanted to stay close to home and was worried about the pressure from flying.
