Tall, Dark and Hollander Cocktail

Ginger ale fan Shane Hollander would love this spicy tall version of a dark and stormy from Le Tambour Tavern in Hamilton, Ont., where Heated Rivalry was filmed.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz white rhum

  • 2 oz dark rum

  • 1 oz Licor 43 (see note)

  • 2 oz fresh lime juice

  • 1.5 oz pear ginger juice

Instructions

  • Shake all ingredients and strain into a Collins glass. Fill with ice.

  • Top with ginger beer and garnish with a candied ginger and a lime wheel. Serve with a straw.

  • Licor 43 is a citrus-vanilla liqueur from Spain that can be found in most liquor stores.
