“Russians Don’t Blush” Cocktail

This fan favourite quote of Heated Rivalry's Ilya Rozanov becomes a tart, lightly spiced sipper served at Le Tambour Tavern in Hamilton, Ont.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz vodka

  • 1.5 oz lime juice

  • 1.5 oz Collective Arts Tart Cherry Cider

  • 1 oz chai-infused vermouth (see note)

Instructions

  • Shake all ingredients and strain into a Nick and Norah glass or other short coupe. Garnish with an Amarena cherry.

Kitchen tip

  • To make chai-infused vermouth, steep 2-3 bags of chai in 12 oz of sweet vermouth at room temperature for up to 24 hours.
