Cozy cocktail: Mulled wine with clementines
An easy way to warm-up a crowd of guests!
- 750 mL dry red wine
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 10 whole cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/8 tsp allspice
- 1 long strip clementine peel , avoid white pith
- Stir wine with sugar and spices in a saucepan over medium. Adjust heat so wine heats up but doesn’t simmer, allowing flavours to infuse, about 15 min. Add peel for the last 5 min of infusing. Strain and serve warm with clementine slices.
