Ingredients

  • 6 English breakfast sausages
  • 398-mL can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 small chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp granulated sugar
  • 540-mL can bean medley , drained and rinsed

Instructions

  • Coat a large, wide frying pan with oil and set over medium-high heat. Prick sausages in several places and add. Turn often, until browned, 5 to 7 min. When sausages are browned, reduce heat to medium-low. Pour tomatoes into pan. Stir in chipotle, oregano, sugar and beans. Cover and stir occasionally until sausages are cooked through and beans are warm, 8 to 10 min.
