Recycle your wine bottles by decorating them with chalkboard paint and a little creativity, the possibilities are endless!

Follow these three steps:

1. Soak empty wine, or glass drinking bottles in warm water for a few minutes until the label is easily removed.

2. Using chalkboard spray paint, spray each bottle with three coats — and make sure to let dry between coats.

3. With your favourite coloured chalk, have fun writing on the bottles! Use them as flower vases, table menus or reuse them to hold your favourite drinks.

Note: Chalkboard paint can be found at Canadian Tire or any paint-supply store.
