Yes, Robert Pattison is cute, and yes, we're all for the academic analysis of fine works of literature, but is an entire university course in "Twilightology" really necessary? California State University says yes. They're offering a Twilight-themed course as part of their Women's Studies program. We're sure that some feminists may be recoiling (justifiably) at the idea of a women's studies department devoting an entire class to the dissection of Edward Cullen's non-sex life, but we think the fandom and hysteria that has surrounded the books and films may warrant academic scrutiny, and the students at California State agree – when the class started there was only one spot left.

Who needs a fancy wedding when a couple of big macs will do? Several McDonald's locations in Hong Kong are banking on the fact that brides will be happy with a cake made out of individual apple pies on the big day.

Mom always said not to judge a book by its cover, but when that book is by Tina Fey, and that cover features the 30 Rock star with gigantic man hands, it's hard to resist. A sneak peek of the cover of her forthcoming book, titled Bossypants, reveals a demure Fey in a typical thoughtful author pose, but with enormous, hairy masculine forearms in place of her own. It's both gross and fabulous, which, knowing Fey, is exactly what she was aiming for.

We've all wished at one time or another that Mariah Carey would wear more clothing, but we also respect her right to be partially naked most of the time, should she be so inclined.
