DIY house numbers nail project Photo and prop styling by Emma Reddington

Easy how-to:

Choose a bold fold and print out your house numbers on letter-sized paper.

Tack the paper to the surface you’ll be nailing into, like a precut piece of wood or the exterior of your house or fence.

Using a pair of needle-nose pliers and a hammer, tap the nails into place. Try to hit each nail straight on and with the same force for an overall even appearance.

Once you have filled the template with nails, simply rip the paper from the surface. Voila! Your own personalized house numbers.
