Classic Spicy Caesar

Chatelaine Triple Tested

This truly Canadian cocktail originated in Calgary, circa 1969. Get as creative as you want with the garnish, some of our favourites include: celery, limes, olives, pickles or even a shrimp or two.

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon

  • celery salt

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka

  • 4 dashes Tabasco sauce

  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce

  • Clamato juice

  • pepper

Instructions

  • RUN a lemon wedge around the rim of a tall glass, then turn it upside down onto a plate of celery salt. Fill glass with ice. Add 1 1/2 oz vodka, 4 dashes of Tabasco, 2 dashes of Worcestershire and the remaining juice from the lemon wedge. Top up with Clamato juice and a generous grinding of pepper. Garnish with another lemon wedge.
