Heat a medium saucepan over mediumlow. Add oil, then onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onion is dark golden, 8 to 10 min. Add broth. Continue cooking, stirring often, until onion is very soft, about 5 more min. Add vinegar and salt. Remove from heat and stir in cherries. Serve with Juicy turkey burgers.
