Holiday cranberry-rum cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white rum
  • 1 thin slice peeled fresh ginger
  • 2 cups cold cranberry juice , or raspberry cocktail juice

Instructions

  • Pour rum into a pitcher. Add ginger. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, gently crush ginger to release juices. Stir in cold cranberry juice. Pour into sugar-rimmed martini glasses and float frozen cranberries in each glass.
