Hot buttered chai latte

The depths of winter call for a clever hot drink, and this chai latte, inspired by one we tasted at Vancouver's Granville Island Public Market, is equally warming. Don't be put off by the butter: It's the secret ingredient that makes this drink unforgettable.
Ingredients

2 tbsp
unsalted
butter

3 tbsp
brown sugar

1 tbsp
minced fresh
ginger

1 tbsp
chai spice
-
2 cups
boiling
water
-
4 bags
black
tea
-
1 cup
warm
milk
Instructions
- MASH butter with brown sugar, ginger and chai spice.
- POUR boiling water over tea bags. Steep 4 min. Discard tea bags.
- BLEND butter mixture with tea and milk in a blender until frothy. Pour through a sieve into 3 mugs.
