Mulled wine

Warm up the holidays with a hot cup of wine. Warm spices like cinnamon, cloves and star anise add festive flavour, with sliced clementines bringing a pop of colour and citrusy kick.
Ingredients
- 750 mL dry red wine
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 10 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 whole star anise
- pinch of allspice
- sliced clementines , to garnish
Instructions
- HEAT wine with sugar, cloves, cinnamon, star anise and allspice until just warm (don’t let it boil). Keep warm in a slow cooker or on the stove. Garnish with clementines.
