Masala corn

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
  • 1 finely chopped medium tomato
  • 1 seeded and finely chopped jalapeño
  • 3 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • MELT butter in a large frying pan over medium. Add onion, garam masala and chili powder. Cook for 2 min.
  • STIR in corn kernels and cook until tender, 3 more min. Transfer to a bowl. Stir in tomato, jalapeno, parsley, lemon juice and salt.
