Dream house

The Ikea booth at the Interior Design Show always — and I mean always — creates a memorable and impressive space. This year they built a dream kitchen in a soft and smokey grey finish and for a touch of glam, they installed brushed brass hardware — so gorgeous! But the kitchen isn’t the only jaw-dropping area: they also created a sensational bath and dressing room, complete with glimmering gold tiles, and daybed. You'll definitely want to check out their booth for more inspiration!

Sophisticated style

Cocooon Furnishings, a treasured home décor store in Oakville, has just unveiled their launch of Aerin Lauder's home collection. Aerin (granddaughter of Estée Lauder) translates her elegant style into home products and those visiting the Interior Design Show will get an exclusive preview of the collection. To see more of Cocoon's offerings of beautiful designs and accessories, make sure you visit their showroom!

From fashion to furnishings

The Korhani exhibit is a remarkable journey into the endless creativity and imagination that defines the brand. It's one that has never been seen before at the Interior Design Show — the space seems to come alive with talking mannequins! From rugs to furniture, Korhani continues to push the boundaries in how we view and shop for home designs, and after experiencing their exhibit I assure you Korhani will be a name to be remembered for all time. Bonus: The first 35 people that LIKE Korhani home on Facebook or follow them on Twitter will receive a gift.

Planning ahead

Andrew Richard Designs has gone and done it again! Every year at the Interior Design Show are the center of the party and the biggest attraction. Every year they showcase their newest collections and there’s no doubt that this Canadian company will get you excited to design your outdoor space. Yes, I know summer and warm weather seems eons away, but better start thinking about it soon because furnishings like these will be gone before you know it!

Bonus: Contributing design expert (and a personal fave of mine) Sarah Richardson will be on stage at the Interior Design Show on Sunday at 3pm to chat about her latest collaboration with Kravet fabrics. If you can’t make it on Sunday, be sure to swing by the Kravet booth and check out her gorgeous fabric collection.
