What it is: Riding pant, $49, MOON

How to wear it: Saddle up in style this season with a sweet pair of riding pants from Canadian retailer, MOON. These double knit trousers are equipped with flattering front pockets, a flat waist band and just the right amount of stretch to keep them skinny all day long. Wear them this fall with a long camel sweater, a cozy cable knit scarf and a pair of riding boots. Or, dress them up with a black crew neck top, a set of gold bangles and an embellished bootie.

Why I love it: This equestrian-inspired pant is the perfect alternative to a skinny jean. I love the colour and narrow cut of the hunter green trouser and they neatly tuck into boots without any bunching. I am wearing them now with a grey tank top and kitten heels but will layer, layer, layer when the cold weather comes and top them with a knit sweater, quilted vest, cashmere scarf and my trusty Blunstone boots.

E-Commerce news: MOON has just launched an E-Commerce site
