Apricot sangria cocktail

Five o’clocktail: Amy Haynes works her magic behind the bar at Calgary’s Ox and Angela and made this springtime sipper just for us!

Ingredients

  • 750 mL bottle white wine
  • 3 tbsp simple syrup*
  • 3 tbsp orange-blossom water
  • 1/3 cup apricot brandy
  • 2 thinly sliced oranges
  • 6 apricots, sliced into wedges (pit removed)
  • 2 cups club soda

Instructions

  • Stir all ingredients except soda water in a pitcher. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Stir in soda water and ice just before serving.

*Bring equal parts sugar and water to a boil. Remove from heat and cool before using
