Floral ballet flats: Weekly steal

What it is: Floral bow-tie ballet flats, Old Navy, $23

How to wear it: I am always saying: "pair this outfit with a cute pair of printed ballet flats." Well at long last ladies, here they are. So super-cute, these fun floral shoes perfectly accentuate a simple outfit. Wear them with rolled up jeans, a white t-shirt and a long pendant necklace for the "I just threw something on and look fabulous look" or play up the colourful print and pair them with pink pants! Can you wear jeans on Friday? These shoes would look sharp with a pair of dark denim skinnies and a white blazer. (Be warned: dressing so stylish might lead to the dreaded co-worker copycat dilemma.)

Why I love it: There will always be a time and a place for heels but truth be told, my heart belongs to the ballet flat. I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge my friends at Old Navy who never seem to disappoint in walking flat department. And, with such affordable prices it's no wonder that they have become one of my go-to shoe spots. This pretty floral flat is my latest fave find and while I'm currently rocking them with the 'fabulous weekend' look, I am looking forward to wearing them with white jeans a lightweight denim shirt come summer!
