Last night marked the fourth annual 'Heart Truth' Fashion Show at the Carlu in Toronto. Designed to raise money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the show featured one-of-a-kind dresses by Canada's top fashion designers and modelled by Canada's hottest female celebrities. Joining the ladies this year were their male counterparts, who sported clothing from V Hazleton.

Juno award-winning R&B singer Deborah Cox wears Kaelen, by Toronto-based designer, Kaelen Farncombe. Cox's single “Nobody’s Supposed to Be Here” was a huge hit in 1998, peaking at No. 1 on the USA top R&B 100 charts where it remained for 14 weeks before going platinum.
Actress Megan Follows wears David Dixon, one of Canada’s leading women’s fashion designers. Follows is best known for her portrayal of “Anne Shirley” in the Anne of Green Gables trilogy.
Principal dancer Chan Hon Goh wears Ross Mayer. Goh is the principal ballerina at the National Ballet of Canada and Goh Ballet Company, and was the first Canadian to receive the Silver Medal at the Genée International Ballet Competition in London, England. Goh has also received New Pioneers Arts Award for her contributions to dance in Canada, the 2010 Mandarin Profile Female Entrepreneur Award, and the 2010 FMA Vancouver Art Achievement Award.

She played Detective Jennifer Angell on CSI NY for three seasons, and will play the role of journalist/blogger Liza Hearn, on the USA Network crime series, Covert Affairs.
Actress Debra McGrath wears Karamea by Michelle Turpin. McGrath was nominated for an Actra Award and won a Canadian Comedy award for her role in the improvised movie Expecting. She also co-created, wrote and starred in the series Getting Along Famously with her husband Colin Mochrie for CBC. Currently, her roles include a spoiled, self-centered Mom on the set of Single White Spenny and Mayor Anne Popowitz in the fifth season of Little Mosque on the Prairie.

He received a lifetime achievement award at the 2010 Actra Awards, and is currently shooting a new series for Canada's VisionTV called She's The Mayor.

George PimentelTwo-time Olympic figure-skating bronze medalist, Isabelle Brasseur wears Marie Saint Pierre. The five-time Canadian Pairs Champion claimed the Gold Medal at the World Pairs Championship in 1993 with her partner Lloyd Eisler, and the two are regarded as one of the most successful pair teams in Canada's history. Brasseur was also a finalist in CBC's Battle of the Blades in 2009.
Breakfast Television co-host Dina Pugilese wears LOVAS by Wesley Badanjak. The TV personality was named one of the "Top 10 Hottest Women on Television" and one of the "50 Most Beautiful Canadians" by HELLO! magazine. International "shoe-ru" Ron White also designed a boot inspired by Pugliese that Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson added to her royal shoe collection.
Three-time Gemini Award nominee Enuka Okuma wears Starkers! Corsetry by Dianna DiNoble. Okuma is best known for her portrayal of tough rookie cop Traci Nash on Rookie Blue, the smash hit summer series from Global and ABC. She can be seen alongside Tom Hands and Julia Roberts in Larry Crowne, a feature film written and directed by Tom Hanks.

Academy Award winning singer/songwriter Buffy Sainte-Marie wears Paul Hardy. Sainte-Marie's concern for protecting indigenous intellectual property and her distaste for the exploitation of Native American artists and performers have kept her in the forefront of activism in the arts for forty years. Presently she operates the Nihewan Foundation for Native American Education through which the Cradleboard Teaching Project serves children and teachers throughout North America.
