As the world evolves, so does the way we share information. From tweeting to Facebooking, information spreads fast and furious via the world wide web. Fashion blogs are no exception. Trends change quickly (as clothes fly off shelves and models tramp down runways) so blogs give readers a chance to find out more info about the newest trends. And fast.
Holt Renfrew is paying tribute to these online leaders of style with brand new fashion blogger-inspired windows that will be unveiled tomorrow evening.
Six of the world’s top bloggers with a diverse mix of style are the inspiration for the windows at the Toronto flagship. Two of the windows will have a 24-hour interactive touch screen so that you can cast your vote and help Holt’s select their Contemporary Correspondent, and the two finalists will be competing in a series of fashion-related challenges over the next few weeks. It’s a style-off people!
“Bloggers have become the fashion world’s new celebrities. They’re knowledgeable and influential contributors to the modern media landscape. Their opinions and visuals are relevant, creative and thought-provoking, providing a constant source of inspiration. We are honoured to pay homage to their style,” says Holt’s Creative Director John Gerhardt
