Five brushes you need
Use: Handy for beginners, an angled shape makes it easy to apply an even and consistent amount of product to the upper eyelid. Instead of using a pencil liner, try out this brush with either a liquid or powder shadow for a precise cat eye.

Use: A large, flat and rounded brush is ideal for applying and blending all kinds of foundation quickly and evenly on your face, shoulders and even décolleté!

Use: Look for a slightly wider concealer brush that includes a pointed tip. This allows for added precision when working in smaller areas like around the nose and under your eyes. (Even better, this option from MAC doubles as a lip brush, too.)

5. Double-ended sculpting brush
Use: This double-ended brush has both a rounded side and a slanted side for sculpting and highlighting. Use the slanted side to create a shadow under the cheekbone and the domed side to highlight or colour with blush.
