Runway inspiration: Bright lips made a statement at Burberry, Dries Van Noten and Jason Wu.

Focus on: Colour The classic bright lip is here to stay. Prep first by buffing your lips with a warm, damp cloth and swipe on a layer of balm.

What's new: Naked face Keep your skin really neutral so that lips really pop. For mascara, the look is light and tinted. Wipe off excess product on a tissue and apply a super-sheer coat to your upper lashes only.

Beauty cocktail If you're feeling a little pale, dab lipstick on the apples of your cheeks, then blend a small amount of moisturizer on top to smooth it out.

Hair how-to Add texture with a dry shampoo. Backcomb at the crown to create volume, and part hair deeply to one side. Sweep the remaining length of hair into a loose French roll and pin in place, allowing some pieces to fall out naturally.
