7 celebratory Canada Day cocktails
For Canada Day, we're getting extra patriotic by shaking up some Canadian-inspired cocktails. From classic caesars, to maple syrup and Canadian whisky, here are six drinks to raise a toast with and celebrate the holiday.

<b>Red and white cosmo</b>
COMBINE 3 tbsp vodka with 3 tbsp white cranberry juice, 1 tbsp Cointreau and a squeeze of lemon in a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice and shake for 10 sec. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Slowly pour Chambord down the edge into the bottom of a glass. Garnish with frozen cranberries.

<p>MUDDLE a fresh strawberry in a highball glass. Fill glass with ice, then pour in 2 tbsp each Canadian Club Sherry Cask Whisky, cranberry juice, ginger ale, 1 tbsp Chambord and 1 to 2 drops Angostura Bitters. Top with icewine. Garnish with another strawberry.</p>

<b>Canada's Day cocktail</b>
<p>MUDDLE 6 fresh raspberries with 1/4 cup Victoria Gin, 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp maple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Shake well. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with club soda and garnish with fresh raspberries and a lemon wheel.</p>

<p>BRING 1/4 cup demerara sugar and 2 tbsp water to a boil. Remove from heat. Cool completely. <br /><br />STIR 1 1/2 tbsp each Crown Royal Maple Finished Whisky and Canadian rye, 1 tsp demerara syrup and 2 to 3 drops Angostura bitters in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with orange and lemon twist.</p>

<b>Classic caesar cocktail</b>
<p>RUN a lemon wedge around the rim of a tall glass, then turn it upside down onto a plate of celery salt. Fill glass with ice.<br /><br />ADD 3 tbsp vodka, 4 dashes Tabasco, 2 dashes Worcestershire and the remaining juice from the lemon wedge. Top up with Clamato juice and a generous grinding of pepper. Garnish with a celery stalk and another lemon wedge.</p>

STIR 1/4 cup Canadian rye with 1 tbsp maple syrup in a lowball glass until combined. Add ice and top with ginger ale.

<p>COMBINE 3 tbsp Crown Royal Maple Finished Whisky with 3 tbsp pineapple juice and 1 tbsp each lemon juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice. Shake well, then strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with 2 tbsp club soda. Garnish with an orange wheel and maraschino cherry.</p>
