No-work comfort food

Think of your slow cooker as an electric casserole–it gently cooks food with a low, steady, moist heat. All you need to do is toss in a large piece of meat or chicken or a bean combo and a few spices before heading to work or play. Then return to a piping hot ready-to-eat dinner.
