Crispy Tofu Patties
Whisk 1 egg with 1 tbsp soy sauce. Dredge 1/2-in.-thick slices of medium tofu in flour, then egg mixture. Dip in crushed fried shallots to coat. Pan-fry in oil until golden, about 1 min per side.
Toss plain popcorn with finely grated parmesan, fried shallots, melted butter and dried thyme.
