Baileys boozy almond milk finally launches in Canada

Did we mention it's vegan, gluten-free and lower in fat than the original?
Baileys Almande vegan cream liqueur, made with almond milk
The classic Irish liqueur adds its signature whiskey-twist to almond milk.

Baileys Almande, made with sweet almond oil, almond essence, cane sugar, purified water, and vanilla, is finally rolling out to stores in Canada. The new dairy-free spirit lifts the iconic winter liqueur out of its seasonal isolation with versatile almond and vanilla flavours—we're thinking beat-the-heat, boozy iced coffees (still vegan!), or drizzled over ice cream for an over-the-top affogato. Bonus: The beverage also happens to be substantially lower in calories, fat and carbs than original Baileys Irish Cream. Almande rolled out in the US this past spring and is now being tested in a few Canadian markets. The beverage can currently only be purchased in liquor stores across Alberta, BC and Ontario—the official nationwide launch is set for 2017.
