When I’m feeling under the weather, I tend to crave certain types of foods to perk me up. During the winter, I love a hot bowl of soupy noodles. There’s something very comforting to me about noodle/soup combinations.
While it’s not quite winter yet, this blast of blustery weather has me reaching for my soup spoon. A recent favourite of mine is in our October issue – Chicken Miso Noodle Soup. Not only do I love the meaty texture of udon noodles, but I love the savoury broth and the zing from the ginger in the meatballs. You might even call it our Japanese-inspired take on chicken noodle soup! I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do!
