It’s the first day of December and you know what that means – the start of holiday parties and the countdown for gift shopping begins!

When I attend parties, I like to bring a little something to show appreciation for my hosts.  Most people I know (including myself) tend to bring bottles of wine, but why not switch it up a little for the holidays?

Chatelaine has designed some budget-friendly homemade gifts to make your holiday gift giving a little more special this year.  We’ve also taken the guesswork out of the packaging by creating templates for labels and stickers you can print out and detailed instructions on the materials you’ll need.

There’s something for everyone!  If you’re invited to a last-minute get together, it only takes five minutes to put together our Vanilla-Cranberry Vodka or Indian Spice Kit. Have a little more time on your hands? Why not package our Rosemary and Garlic Bread Dipper with some fresh artisan bread? Looking for something kid-friendly?  They’re bound to love our Salted Caramel Popcorn and Double Caramel Sponge Candy! (And just as an aside – I love them too!).

We hope that you enjoy these holiday gift ideas! And keep reading In The Kitchen this month for more holiday tips and recipe ideas coming your way!
