The Chatelaine Kitchen is situated right in the midst of several magazines’ editorial departments, so we frequently get staff popping in just to see what we’re up to. We recently had a special guest stop by The Kitchen – Karen, an avid Chatelaine reader from Timmins, Ontario and she brought us cookies!!!  They were delicious, chocolatey, nutty and – best of all – homemade!  

It got me thinking about how people used to do cookie exchanges, and we’ve got just the thing to keep you baking through the holiday season.
