Our recipe tester, Kristen, loves taking her three kids to pick-your-own berry farms. It's an easy way for children to experience farm-to-table eating firsthand. In my recent interview with celebrity mom, Jennifer Garner, she also told me that she takes her two girls berry picking and they can't resist eating them when they're picking them fresh off the vine. And, who can blame them? They're delicious! For more information on pick-your-own farms, visit Harvest Ontario or Pick-Your-Own Canada.

Whether you're picking your own berries, or purchasing them from your local farmers' market, here are five ways to use these juicy little gems:

-Tumble fresh raspberries over this sinfully creamy raspberry cream tart for your next dinner party.

-Breakfast will never be the same once you serve your family and friends French-toast sandwiches with raspberry cream.

-Throw an afternoon tea and garden party with these sweet raspberry-rhubarb pavlova cupcakes

-No drink says summer like a fruity sangria! Add raspberries and other fresh fruit to this rose sangria. Ole!

-Picked up too many raspberries? Don't let them go to waste - make a batch (or two!) of sweet raspberry freezer jam that will keep until next summer.
