This Canada Day, gather your friends and family and host a patriotic feast packed with recipes and ingredients from across our great country. What’s more Canadian than a menu of Alberta-style steak, a maple syrup-infused cocktail and a flag-inspired (red and white) dessert? Happy Canada Day!


 

Mains
Grill up — from Calgary restaurant-scene hot-spot — Ox and Angela’s grilled flatiron steak with piquillo-pepper confit or for a more laid-back style, our new classic burger (with Canadian beef and cheddar cheese). For a lighter fare, our maple pan-seared pork medallions on watercress will fit the bill.

Sides
We’re loving Charcut’s buttery soft pretzel sticks — serve one alongside the steak. A maple leaf spinach-and-strawberry salad is a great side to go with a the burger or steak.



 

Dessert
