Horseradish smashed potatoes

Yukon Gold potatoes, unpeeled and cut into small chunks
3/4 cup
3 tbsp
horseradish, preferably extra hot
1/2 tsp


  • Cover potatoes with water in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Continue boiling until potatoes are very tender, about 25 min.
  • Drain potatoes and return to pan. Set on low. Smash potatoes while adding milk, horseradish and salt until combined.

Ingredient Tip: An opened jar of horseradish loses its pungency over time. Taste and adjust quantity accordingly when adding to smashed potatoes recipe.
