- Boil 1 cup water in a small saucepan. Stir in couscous and currants. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand 5 min. Fluff couscous gently with a fork.
Practically any savoury flavour you like goes with fluffy couscous. But currants add a surprising pop of sweet and sour goodness.
