carrots, peeled and cut into 1-in. chunks

large rutabaga, peeled and cut into 1-in. chunks
1/4 cup
35% cream
1/4 cup
finely chopped parsley
1/2 tsp
kosher salt
1/8 tsp

Instructions

  • COVER carrots and rutabaga with water in a large pot set over medium-high. Boil until tender, about 30 min. Drain and return vegetables to pot. Add cream and parsley. Sprinkle with salt and nutmeg. Season with fresh pepper. Mash until smooth.
