Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2-Jan large red cabbage , thinly sliced, about 6 cups
  • 1/2 cup apple cider , or juice
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • fresh pepper

Instructions

  • MELT butter in a large saucepan over medium-high. Add cabbage and cook, stirring occasionally, until it starts to soften, 3 to 4 min.
  • STIR in apple cider (or juice), apple cider vinegar, honey and salt. Season with fresh pepper. Cover and continue cooking until tender, 9 to 10 min.
