Ingredients

  • 1 small onion , chopped
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 2 pears
  • 1 sweet red bell pepper , seeded and chopped
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp hot-red-chili-flakes
  • 1 green onion , thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Sauté onion in butter over medium heat until lightly golden, about 8 minutes.
  • Peel, core and chop pears. Stir in along with pepper, brown sugar, vinegar and chili flakes. Stir often until thickened, about 10 minutes. Stir in green onion.
