Double-dipping of delicious lobster and asparagus is the essence of a romantic finger-food dinner.
Many supermarkets and fish shops will cook fresh lobster for you. Call ahead to request the size. To cook your own, add lobsters to a large saucepan of boiling salted water. Two 1-1/2-lb (750-g) lobsters will take 10 to 15 minutes. To tell when they’re done, remove from water and immediately tug on an antenna. If it comes out easily, the lobster is done. If not, boil 2 more minutes.
