Ingredients

  • 4 halves oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes , drained
  • 400-g pkg Swiss fondue
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano , or basil leaves
  • 1/2 tsp dried hot red-chili flakes , optional
  • Packaged bread sticks

Instructions

  • Finely chop tomatoes. Place fondue in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until cheese is completely melted and smooth, 3 to 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium. Stir in tomatoes, oregano and chili flakes. Stir constantly 2 minutes. Or prepare following microwave directions on package. Then stir in tomatoes and seasonings. Return to microwave and heat 1 minutes. Pour into a fondue pot and place over warmer or pour into a decorative bowl. Serve with bread sticks, cubes of crusty french bread or chopped fresh veggies for dipping.
