Red and green salad with caper vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 2 heads butter, Boston or bibb lettuce , torn
  • 1 head radicchio , torn into pieces
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp red-wine vinegar
  • 1 small garlic clove , minced
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp chopped capers

Instructions

  • Combine lettuce and radicchio in a large bowl. Set aside.
  • Whisk oil with vinegar, garlic, Dijon and capers in a medium bowl. Season with pepper.
  • Pour vinaigrette over lettuce and toss until well coated.
