You'll be enjoying the tangy taste of lime in no time with our Key Lime Pie. Simply whisk a few ingredients together in one bowl, pour into a prepared crust and bake.
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 can sweetened condensed milk, regular or low-fat
1/2 cup lime juice
2 or 3 drops green food colouring, optional
19-in. graham-cracker or prepared frozen pie crust
frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preheat oven to 325ºF (160ºC).
Whisk together egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, lime juice and food colouring if desired. Pour into prepared pie crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Cool completely. Chill 1-2 hrs. Serve topped with whipped topping or whipped cream. Garnish as desired.
