Big-batch Tuscan beef mix

Ingredients

  • 4 slices white bread
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning , or 1 tbsp each each dried basil and oregano
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1.5 kg ground beef
  • 4 green onions , thinly sliced

Instructions

  • With a fork, mash bread in a bowl with milk. In a large bowl, whisk eggs with Worcestershire and Dijon. Stir in seasonings. Crumble in beef. Add bread mixture and onions. Using your hands, work just until evenly mixed.
