Apple ginBy Chatelaine
- 2 apples , coarsely chopped
- 1 1/4 cups gin , plus more to cover apples
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp dried lavender
- hard cider , to serve
- PACK apples into a 1-L glass Mason jar. Add enough gin to cover. Cover with lid. Let stand at room temperature for 1 week.
- STIR in 1 1/4 cups more gin, honey and dried lavender. Serve strained over ice or top with hard apple cider.
