Apple gin

Ingredients

  • 2 apples , coarsely chopped
  • 1 1/4 cups gin , plus more to cover apples
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp dried lavender
  • hard cider , to serve

Instructions

  • PACK apples into a 1-L glass Mason jar. Add enough gin to cover. Cover with lid. Let stand at room temperature for 1 week.
  • STIR in 1 1/4 cups more gin, honey and dried lavender. Serve strained over ice or top with hard apple cider.
