Rum sourBy Chatelaine
- 2 oz amber rum
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- maraschino cherry , to garnish
- ice cubes
- FILL a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add rum, lemon juice and simple syrup. Shake well.
- STRAIN into a lowball glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
- Simple syrup: Boil 1 cup sugar with 1 cup water in a small pot until sugar dissolves. Store in fridge up to two months.
