- 2 cups halved strawberries
- 2 cups ice
- 1/3 cup agave or simple syrup
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1/3 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup Cointreau
- Kosher salt , (optional)
- COMBINE strawberries, ice, syrup, lime juice, tequila and Cointreau in a blender. Whirl until smooth. Pour into a shallow casserole or baking dish, then cover with plastic wrap and freeze until slushy, about 2 hours.
- SERVE in frozen glasses, or wet rims of glasses and dip in kosher salt. Garnish with strawberries and limes.
