Ingredients

  • 2 oranges
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar , or 2 cups granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Finely grate peel from oranges and lemons. Spread out on waxed paper and leave, uncovered, at room temperature overnight. Mix half of peel with granulated sugar, the other half with brown sugar. Layer sugars in a preserving jar. Seal.
