I remember the first time I heard about Target. There I was, enjoying my Sunday afternoon read of the New York Times Magazine, when I came across a super-cool ad for a (surprisingly inexpensive) store. The department store’s claim to fame was to feature products created by designers of international acclaim, like Phillip Lim. It offered access to all kinds of awesome things without the designer price tag! Fast forward 10 years and you can imagine my excitement when I learned Target was coming to Canada. In fact, the entire Chatelaine team was pumped. We couldn’t wait to get into the store and see what Target had planned for us here north of the border. We went to town and wasted no time figuring out how we could mix our fave finds into our own lives, not to mention the pages of Chatelaine. In our special bonus extra issue, you’ll find the best ideas for updating your life with cheap-chic fall style—and most of it’s from Target! (We promise no one will be able to guess where you saved or where you splurged.) Plus, find plenty of our signature delicious harvest recipes, speedy workouts that get results and aha! organizing solutions.
