You don’t need to have your makeup done by a pro to get that red carpet glam look. Follow Paul Venoit’s six makeup application tips below and you’re sure to look flawless for your next night out on the town:

1) Create an even finish on the skin with concealers and foundation. Be sure to match your shade and don’t over-do the application. Keep it fresh!

2) Use a mineral powder and blush to create a soft healthy-looking glow. It's all about beginning with a beautiful canvas. Softly sculpt and highlight your cheekbones.

3) Intensify your lip color. Pick a daring shade of red for full Hollywood glam.

4) It’s all in the eyes! Choose shadows that compliment and intensify your eye colour. Next take it up a notch by adding eye liner to the inner part of the eye with your favourite colour. Choose black for real drama or add a touch of the unexpected with a coloured mascara to define and brighten the colour of your eyes.

5) Highlight those areas you want to bring attention to. Use a mineral finishing powder to create a healthy looking glow in all the right places. Dust lightly over entire face!

6) Remember not to over-do it but have fun and be an adventurist.
