Later in the month a friend will need some serious one-on-one time with you. Cook up a dish of butternut tagliatelle and let the tears flow. At last you’ll find some time to focus on your own projects, so mix up some boozy watermelon lemonade and enjoy yourself. Berries are your key ingredient this month.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

You’re feeling a little pinched for cash right now so make a batch of cran-bran muffins to tote to work instead of grabbing one from the cafe every day. Instead of going out for drinks, host the girls chez vous with awesome snacks like spicy popcorn and chocolate-covered chips. Your wallet will thank you! And instead of buying another expensive bunch of flowers, add beauty to your table with a stunning cake; unlike the bouquet, it’s edible and delicious! Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Hey, what’s going on? You’re feeling overwhelmed but you can do this. Make a big pot of bean and pea soup to set up your lunches (freeze it in portion packs!) then throw some ribs in the slow-cooker to take the stress off of weeknight dinners. There, feeling better? Go on, celebrate yourself with a spicy caesar. Bacon is your key ingredient this month.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

You’ve got the Midas touch this month! When you’re asked to contribute to the charity bake sale, make two batches of amazing (and gluten-free) chocolate chip cookies and watch the donations roll in. And if there’s a new job in the works, bring along fresh strawberry scones as a thank-you gift (the interviewer will be awestruck). By the end of the month you’ll be craving superfood suppers involving heart-healthy nuts. Walnuts are your key ingredient this month.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

You love beautiful things and never more so than right now. Embrace it by making a stunning salad for supper and follow it up with a pretty cake. You’re also feeling rather romantic which may lead you to making some butter chicken for a beloved person in your life. Ginger is your key ingredient this month.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Hmm, that’s funny … since when do you like beer so much? Ha, just kidding! Live it up with boozy slushies and lageritas. You could use some stability in your life right now. You can’t go wrong with great omelette for breakfast, a killer shrimp sandwich for lunch and and brilliant grilled chicken for supper. If you want to add a classic lemon tart to the mix, go for it. Citrus juice is your key ingredient this month.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
