12 days of fitness: Smart snacking on day 6

On the sixth day of our 12-day fitness challenge, celebrity trainer Ramona Braganza shares her tips for snacking the right way

It’s Day 6 of the 12 Days of Fitness and you know what that means: We’re at the halfway point! Way to go!  Today celebrity trainer Ramona Braganza is talking about smart snacking. As we discussed on Day 3, it’s important to eat frequently to boost your metabolism and power you through your workouts. Ramona’s 3-2-1 philosophy, when it comes to eating and drinking, means having three meals, two snacks and one litre of water a day. Make those two snacks count by combining fibre and protein to keep you satiated and satisfied. Some of Ramona’s favourite combos include an apple with peanut butter and a handful of nuts with some celery sticks. Fuel up with a protein- and fibre-filled snack before you complete Day 6’s workout, on the chart below.
