Top picks on Breakfast Television

By Kate
If you missed my chat this morning on Breakfast Television or wanted more information I thought I'd throw up some of the top drugstore picks that we went through. All to help you navigate the pharmacy better my dears! Watch the video HERE. Here are some of the top beauty picks from myself and the experts: Klorane Oil-Absorbing Dry Shampoo, $16. This is great for all hair colours (I use it every other day) and Dina was psyched to try it out.

L’Oréal Paris Elnett Hairspray, $15. Top stylists all over the world love it and use it backstage. And now it's in Canada! (I showed the mini travel size. How cute was that?)

Cetaphil Gentle  Skin Cleanser, $8. Recommended by every derm I speak to this is gentle and works for all skin types so you can buy gallons of it.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Fast Dry Nail Color in Flashy Fuchsia, $6.  I smudge my nails every single time I do them so this super fast drying nail colour is perfect for girls on the go.

Neutrogena Ageless Essentials Continuous Hydration SPF 25, $28. Neutrogena's products contain lots of high-end ingredients like retinols and peptides so you get anti-aging benefits. Plus they usually have SPF for the day which is a must!

Revlon ColorStay Mineral Foundation, $19. I love mineral foundations because they have great benefits for the skin and most have SPF.

Rimmel London Colour Rush Trio Eyeshadow in Dark Angel, $7.  Try out different colours in one palette so you have tons of options.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution, $22. This is a no-water required cleanser. Apparently all the models use it backstage to maintain their skin through endless makeup changes.

Cover FX Conceal FX Camouflage Concealer, $25. This concealer is great for scars and blemishes.

Carmex lip balm, $3. You can't go wrong with this lip balm staple for all seasons. Wear it under lip gloss or alone.

CoverGirl LashBlast Length Mascara in Very Black, $11. Try this to lengthen your lashes.

Live Clean Fresh Water Moisturizing Shampoo, $7. If you're looking for something free of parabens and sulphates you don't need to spend a ton of dough.  Revlon ColorStay Mineral Bronzers, $16. You can use this on eyes, cheeks and your chest to get a natural glow with a bit of shimmer. Aveeno's Positively Radiant Body Wash, $11. This exfoliates with microbeads and fine grains and uses soy to put the moisture back into your skin. And Aveeno is great for sensitive skin. Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Blush & Highlighter in Healthy Glow, $19.  This product can be used to give your cheeks a nice flush and also as a highlighter on your browbone. Mix it with a little lip gloss for a nice pink glow. I hope that helps. And if you have a drugstore favourite I'd love to hear it!
